just start getting like lighter shades of brown


and keep getting darker

Right, do not worry at all. All of the rumours of your hair turning green is just a load of crap really. I had dark brown hair and wanted it blonde so i decided to bleach it blonde, bad mistake! It didn't suit me at all. I really wanted my dark brown hair back but i didn't know how to do it because i read the stories about hair going green if you dye it brown from blonde.


So i did the exact same as you, posted a question on here and i got an answer saying that it wouldn't go green because she had dyed her hair every colour under the sun, lol.


So i just went out and got a brown hair dye and dyed it, 30 minutes later i found my hair a lovely dark brown colour, ( no green at all ) i was so pleased.


Because your hair is bleached, the brown dye you put on will go darker, because i used a natural brown and it went dark brown. So dont get a dark brown, or else it may go black.


I recommend Loreal Paris' Recital Preference in Natural Brown, thats what i used and its amazing.


So yeah, don't worry about your hair going green, it wont happen!
