I'm running to the store in a few minutes to pick up some shampoo/conditioner. I highlighted my hair last night and some of the highlights are slightly brassy. I heard this shampoo will help tone down the brassiness. Is there any other kinds of shampoo I could try that comes from a regular retail store? Any color depositing shampoo in a violet will tone brassy highlights, it'll say it right on the bottle. Try Tressa Watercolors or Clairol Shimmerlights. The more you use them the more neutral the highlights will be, then just use it occasionally for maintence.
