If I already have blonde hair with highlights?

what do you think the best way to go platinum is? Because I don't want any brassy color. If I already have blonde hair with highlights?
If you are going to go platinum, it is a big step and the dye is very harsh on your hair so your best bet to not getting a brassy finish or damaging your hair is to go to a salon and get it done by a color specialist. If I already have blonde hair with highlights?
you can do one of two things. go to your local beauty supply store and ask them to show you the products they have to reduce brassiness to color it yourself or go to your beautician and pay a fortune to let them use the right products.
Go to the hairdressers, they will bleach it and out a toner on it which will calm the brassiness and bring out the type of tone you want.
If you plan to go platinum for the first time please please please don't do it at home!... my friend bought a ';platinum'; hair dye to use at home, the end result was shocking, she had dry white ends and orange roots. She had to book an appointment at the hairdressers to fix it. Apparently it had something to do with the colour she previously had on her hair. She did however suggest if she done it at home she should use Schwarzkopf hair dye and use the pre-lightener.

Good Luck!
An all over semi permanant colour ... just remember it is high matienance going for block colour and will show your roots ...

You could try having platinum slices mainly around your face area

Also invest in a good blonde shampoo and conditioner these will rid any brassy tones
go to a Sally's store or a chemist and buy a good toner

ie Platinum Blonde, then use a good conditioner hey presto

its what a salon would do , especially if you are already blonde

doing myself out of work here as I am a stylist and salon owner
go to a hairdressers and get it done professionally
ask a professional hairdresser.......
