well, in my opinion, i would go for highlights because the half thing is starting to go out of style. highlights are always going to be here though.

Sometimes keeping it darker underneath is what a lot of people do and highlighting the top. I always recommend only doing highlights. Dying the whole hair will make it very easy to tell when one must redye their hair. I hope this helps!
blonde under highlights, it will look alot more natural and will go throughout your hair, if u just get the half bottom blonde then u will only see blonde when ur hair is tied up and wont look as good, ur hair will be 2 distinct different shades and not natural!!
