Brown hair, blonde highlights?

I have a very brown color of hair, and have all my life. I wan tto change it up and put some blondish highlights. im thinkin more carmel color ones thou. i dont want too many. my hair length is to my chin. so 1: wat color highlights do u think i should get? 2: can u plz try to find me some pics or highlights or websites with pics? Do only some foils on your crown.. and bottom where you can see when you put your hair up! Do thin weaved strands.. not thick.. they look unnatural!

Please!!! Go to someone who's experienced!! Last sunday i got some highlights.. I had the same dilemma as yours.. wanted to change.. and well.. i payed a hundred bucks for the lady to screw up my hair!! Make sure they know what they're doing!! Don't be afraid to ask questions.. it's your hair!! sorry.. I'm still upset about my hair.. it will take time for me to fix it.. thankfully i know what i'm doing.. but it's a pain it the rear.. because you wanna get it right the first time!!! If you have some red in your hair.. Make sure to use a blue toner!!!! Or else it'll turn orange like mine did :(

Idk, i dont really like brown with blonde highlights, but if you go a couple shades lighter than your natural color it'll be really cute.
