What is the best hair highlights for me!?!? (dirty blonde)?

I have dirty blonde or light brown hair. It is about the color of Jamie lynn's spears hair. I want highlights and was considering Blonde a copper Highlights. I also have a really pale face and dont want to go too dark because i might look paler. (which is a no no for me) So is Blonde and Copper a good go? Or mabye just either of the two? I will also add i have long, straight hair. HELP!!What is the best hair highlights for me!?!? (dirty blonde)?
