I don't really know what you're trying to achieve, but maybe you could try a strawberry blonde (that might introduce some red into your hair, if that's the plan). If you're going to go red, just take the plunge, don't do the semi permanent. It might look good for the first couple days, but then once it starts to fade you might not like it.
