Hi there!
Well one of my friend's is a hairdresser and I have had this problem before. If you try to go too dark on blond sometimes it turns a weird color. It is best to apply a dye which has a reddish brown base...wait a few days and then apply the brown that you actually want!
Worked perfectly on my hair! :-)Hair color question: my roots are growing back to dark brown but the rest of my hair has blonde highlights...?
Go to a salon and ask a professional what to do. They will know right away what is best for ur hair! Hope this Helped.
Go to a salon, they'll be able to match your hair color flawlessly! Trust me, if you try it yourself you'll have a tough time!
I had the same thing happen to my about a week ago and i got the box of dark brown and used it all over my head and a little tip cover your head with either foil or plastic wrap that way it will make your hair become hot and you will have better hair color and it will stay in longer. Something else to do is if you want to have highlights again just go to your local Walmart or some where that sells hair die buy some frost and glow its only about 7 dollars and leave it in for about an hour but no longer. thanks let me know how it turns out. p.s. wait at least one or two weeks until you done the frost and glow
gold or red will be the best
the hair stylist at the salon will help you :]

I have/had the same problem. I went to the salon to get my highlighted hair completely covered. What resulted was my hair had very red tones where my highlights grew out at. But I agree with the above suggestion to have stylist put in a darker tone next time. I went back and had highlights put in like a fool and now I'm really regretting it. Good luck and hope everything comes out alright.
