i really want a change but a stylish one, my hair stylist said i need a detailed description or picture, i've always had just below the shoulder hair and tie it up all the time, its not straight but its not curly, its weird, any people with ideas, please post an answerShoulder length red hair with blonde highlights, want a change, any ideas?

your gorgeous! but you should get honey brown highlights that aren't chunky or too close together, because i have the same hair color as you and eventually all my highlights faded together and it looked wicked bad. get them done professionally if your gonna get them done
yeah i think so, although darker hair looks nice with honey/lighterbrowns in rather than blonde

Short, thick layers can pull it off much easier than long hair, it might look a little akward or forced with long hair!

Dark roots, 3 inches of orange, with blonde highlights!! how can I get a decent blonde color??

I have natural dark brown hair (blonde as kid, later it used to get highlighted just with the sun). About 6 months ago I got it highlighted at the salon, they highlights were light blonde and caramel. Looked nice. However, I had a baby, and going back to the salon has been impossible (financially and timewise). About 3 months ago I used a natural light blonde (Preference), and it looked ok. Here's the tragedy: a month ago, I decided to go really ligth and used Les Blondissimes lightest ash blonde. Well, it turned orange. My highlights are almost colorless. I decided to stop messing with it for a while cause it was really getting damaged. Now it is in good shape, but my roots are coming and I look horrible. HELP! Salon is no option. I have no babysitter, and little money. I really feel like a blonde, all my life have been. Don't want to go brown. Clairol Natural Instincts in Sahara or Sunflower Blonde .This is semi temporay ,but will blend your hair together and not damage it any further.It should even the color quite a bit.

Sorry, but you need a professional...
You could bleach your roots but be advised stay one inch to one and one half inch away from your roots or go to a place such as sally's beauty supply or go to a drug store or a place like walmart and buy a root touch up kit if you have the time. I would use the root touch up kit because bleach can take a while to process. Good luck!
absolutely, whatever you do, do NOT use semi permanent dye, such as clairol natural instincts to lighten your hair. It turned my light brown roots orange, not to mention wrecking my blonde color. DO NOT USE IT!!!
depends on where you lived, I would suggess you go to a less fancy salon, like Fantastic Sam, or go to some Asian salons. Believe it or not, Asian actually did a pretty dang good job and didn't break your bank.

go for an eva tha diva look..if u have a slim face, then this'll wrk for u
I would start with highlights. That way you get an idea of how it will look. If it is awful, highlights are easier growing out than an all over hairdye.

Will John Frieda's sheer blonde shampoo help brassy highlights?

I'm running to the store in a few minutes to pick up some shampoo/conditioner. I highlighted my hair last night and some of the highlights are slightly brassy. I heard this shampoo will help tone down the brassiness. Is there any other kinds of shampoo I could try that comes from a regular retail store? Any color depositing shampoo in a violet will tone brassy highlights, it'll say it right on the bottle. Try Tressa Watercolors or Clairol Shimmerlights. The more you use them the more neutral the highlights will be, then just use it occasionally for maintence.
